Originally recorded in the late 1800's when forced labour and slavery of African-Americans in the U.S. was still prevalent but freedom through music was circulating, "Swing Low Sweet Chariot", produced and recorded by Malkah Norwood, is a new jovial and percussively dense spiritual with vintage vocals and a celebratory message for the appointed day of Harvest called, 'Feast of Weeks' or 'Shavuot', in Hebrew.

This powerhouse negro spiritual was developed in Jordan, the country where its double encoded meaning was spoken of in the book of Joshua after the Exodus in the Hebrew Bible. The Children of Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 years before a remnant entered into the promised land establishing the name of YHWH and the law of Moses among their tribes. The lyrics,"Swing Low Sweet Chariot, coming for to carry me home", also describes the story in second Kings about a powerful prophet named Elijah who was carried up to the heavens in a whirlwind by fiery chariots. The Prophet Elijah never died and is foretold to return at the second coming of The Messiah in the final battle between good and evil.

Purchase your copy today for the celebration of the Feast of Weeks. Worldwide release on May 11, 2025. Join the remnant of YHWH with praise and thanksgiving for His mighty works and wonders worldwide!!!
